PROFILE

Mr. Wells received his BA degree from the University of Virginia, and his JD degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. He is listed in North Carolina "Super Lawyers" for 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014. (Selection criteria available at www.superlawyers.com.) He was President of the North Carolina Bar Association (2012-2013), an organization of 17,000 members. He has been selected by Triad Business Journal as one of the most influential people in the Triad (2007-2014). He hosts a weekly public service legal call-in show "You and the Law" on WSJS 600-1200 AM (1991-present). He writes a monthly column on legal issues for the Winston-Salem Journal (2003-present). He regularly records thought pieces for WFDD 88.5 FM, the local NPR affiliate, from his popular series on "What I've Learned about Life on the Way to the Courthouse."
